Last month we had a great time at Richland Hills Lodge (even though I thought I was at

Hurst Lodge again). The honorable Michie Brouse received his 50-year award, and
T. J. Ramey presented a very good talk on the five points of fellowship.
Today, we are privileged to have R:. W:. Leo G. “Dusty” Martin, Grand Marshal of the
Grand Lodge of Texas present a special message. He is making himself available as a candidate
for Grand Junior Warden.

One of the items for business today is to discuss the new web page designed by our
treasurer, Ernest Runyon. The Ft.Worth Masonic Service Bureau has a current web page
maintained by Loyd Addy, and it has served us very well, however, Bro. Runyon has agreed to
maintain this new web page geared toward our organization. If the membership approves, we will have
Bro. Loyd change the link from the 64th district web page accordingly. It should be noted that Bro. Loyd
(who has done an absolutely wonderful job maintaining our district web presence) has given his blessing for the great work that our treasurer is doing.

Rental of Masonic Temple

Do you, or an organization that you belong to, need a great place to hold a special meeting, party, wedding, or reception? The Masonic Temple Association (MTA) has just what you need. From small meeting rooms, dining rooms, or the large Grand Ballroom and Commandery Room (great for weddings), the MTA has a room for you. If you are a member of an organization that meets at the Temple you could be eligible for a discount. To book an event at the Temple OR for any Temple Body to schedule the rooms in the Masonic Temple, all (including Masonic bodies) should contact Jessica at 817-439-1790.

President’s Note:

The Upcoming Events are listed on the back of this newsletter.

I want to express my thanks to my officers this year. Harlan Metts, Ernie Runyon, and Paul Mason. The MSB has helped me out personally, as my Mother-in-law Clarice Leonard, wife of Don Leonard member of Arlington Lodge 438, (who currently lives in Lousiana) has undergone significant medical challenges during the past 6 weeks. She was in intensive care, but is now in “extended care” and we hope she will go home soon. Thanks for your prayers. The MSB has lent her a shower chair to assist her when she gets home. Thanks to everyone.
